Why is Meg with Hades?

We all are confused why a pretty girl like Meg is stuck with Hades and why she feels she needs to help him destroy our beloved Hercules! Meg was in love with another man, who she believed was her true love. In a series of unfortunate events, Meg's lover had died. Meg did the only thing she thought she could and sold her soul to the Lord of the underworld, Hades. But when her supposed lover awoke, he left Meg to fend for herself and ran off with another broad. Heartbroken, bitter and alone, Meg is now at Hades disposal and has to do whatever he pleases. And now that Hercules has become a town hero trying to make his way to Zeus, Hades is out to kill him and has to perfect weapon. A beautiful woman who now is bitter towards the males species.
